“There are many small moments that turn out to be big
when you paint them.”

In 1998 Eva de Visser (1971) graduated from the St Joost Art School in Breda as a painter. She combines elements from the various eras of classical painting and elaborates these in 21st-century art.

De Visser does not seek to repeat historical painting, but reuses the skills of the masters to convey a pictorial balance between eternity and the moment.

She taught classical and model painting at the Kunstacademie Haarlem-Leiden and gave workshops at the art society Ars Aemula Naturae. Eva de Visser is married and has two children.
